The “Element” is a refinement of the highly successful GMD 21m catamaran hull, with a reduced bow rake, more bow volume and finer waterline entry.
To date, this vessel is possibly the very best all round catamaran developed by the GMD design team.
A reasonable time frame from order to delivery gave GMD as the designers, time to optimize what was already a successful catamaran hull shape, initially developed for the 19m vessel “Sea Stryder” and carried over to the whole range of Wind Farm Service Vessels (WFSV’s) built by Alicat Workboats in the UK.
Designed for Geraldton based owners GAP Marine and built to a very high standard by Xtreme Marine of Geraldton Western Australia, this vessel has set a new benchmark for jet catamarans with regards to true performance and sea keeping.
The vessel has excelled in trials with full fuel and 10 personnel with a genuine speed of 32 knots and an extremely dry and smooth ride.
The vessel pictured is a sistership and not available for sale.
The vessel may be supplied kit form to your preferred Aluminium Builder (subject to qualification) or we have many established proven builders globally who have the ability to build to our high-quality standards.
