Description
'Zenita' was built in 1929 at Thornycroft boatbuilders. She was recently expertly restored at Stanley and Thomas Boatyard in Windsor. She is currently moored at Harleyford Marina and is offered for sale retaining her existing mooring.
Zenita is a wonderful example of a beautifully restored classic wooden boat. She is a founding member if the Thames Vintage Boat Club (No. 3)
She comes equipped with a very simple to use cover to protect the open wheelhouse. In the summer her driving position offers sun protection whilst on those beautiful autumn days keeps the wind chill at bay making her usable throughout the season. She also benefits from an eberspacher heating system.
On-board she has a full equipped galley with Gas Hob and Oven, Stainless steel sink and fridge with freezer compartment. A relaxed seating area with drop leaf central table that easily can be used of on-board dining.
In the bathroom there is a Shower, Electric pump out WC and a full sized sink
In the Wheelhouse there is a captain s stool and u shaped seating allowing for relaxed cruising or entertaining.
Zenita has a BMC 1500 engine and a PRM140 gearbox .
