Accommodation

Carpe Diem was commissioned as a sail away spec with engine, generator, hydraulic steering, roof hatch, windows, first fix electric and plumbing, dogbox, primer spray painted – all fitted by Piper Boats in 2011. The internal fit-out was completed by the owner to an incredibly high standards in consultation with a marine surveyor to RCD standards. Carpe Diem is registered with a RYA HIN and is VAT paid. The boat was completed and launched in July 2013 and has an F313 HIN.

Carpe Diem has been fitted out to a very high standard with solid oak used throughout this was to reflect the continental rustic feel which has been achieved. Do not miss this boat. Early viewing strongly recommended.


Accommodation: WheelHouse:
Access to Carpe Diem is gained via the full-size port or stb side doors leading in to the incredibly light and airy wheelhouse.
You can immediately see the quality of this boat. It has a bespoke fitted-out using very high standard solid oak throughout.
The wheelhouse benefits from a very well laid out helm station fitted with Raymarine depth sounder, rudder indicator, speed log, VHF duel band radio and a Standard Horizon CP180i chart plotter.
There’s also a lovely seating area with oak dining table and built-in benches. This converts to provide a double berth for your guests.
There’s also a double set of doors leading out to the aft deck and the wheelhouse is illuminated with six stainless steel, down lights.
(Access to the engine room is under the Stb bench seat).

Aft deck:
This is a lovely space, large enough for a table and chair set for two leading straight out from the wheelhouse.

Galley:
You step down from the wheelhouse into the galley.
There is a well-equipped ‘U’ shaped galley looking onto the saloon. It’s very well appointed with the following equipment: Cooke and Lewis kitchen units in duck egg blue with soft close doors and draws and ample storage/work surface. Penguin DP2600 IX fridge freezer, Bosch microwave oven, Caprice MK3 full size, 4 ring hob, grill and oven, Hoover 6Kg washing machine, built-in water filter, stainless steel sink and Corian work top.

Saloon:
This is a very nice airy space thanks to the large window and dogbox skylight. There is a leather three-piece sofa and foot stool and a TV cabinet. It also benefits from an oil stove too for those cold winter evenings. LED down lights and chrome finish switches and sockets.

Companion Way:
This leads to the shower/toilet compartment and master cabin.

Shower room/ Toilet Compartment:
The shower room has a custom built oak double bathroom cabinet with mirror and overhead lighting, custom built vanity unit with Corian top and large freestanding 600mm hand basin with an Ixis wall mixer tap. Large walk-in shower (1900mmx600mm) with Ixis mixer tap. Shower air vent as well as a waterproof LED light, Jabsco Deluxe electric flush loo to holding tank and a Victorian style towel rail.

Master Cabin:
This is a very tranquil cabin. It has a double Ottoman storage bed in Ash, oak bedside cabinet, ample built-in, bi-folding wardrobe providing good hanging space and also shelving through a separate side doors.

Foredeck:
This is a safe area from which to work the lines and anchor.
